From a very early age, Joel had a knack for technology and even learned how to program his parents’ VCR by 3 years old. In middle school, his days were spent working behind the scenes in large scale productions at his Dad’s church.

In high school, he traveled to Calcutta (India) and worked alongside missionaries in the poorest conditions. It was on this trip that he met Mother Teresa and saw, first hand, the difference one person really can make.

He met his wife, Elisabeth, in college and they later moved to Atlanta where he continued to work with churches, behind the scenes. It was when he formed his own technology company and then moved his family to South Florida, that God began to really shift His purpose for Joel’s life. Through navigating his own medical crisis and experiencing miraculous healing, Joel saw the need to help others with theirs, too. What better way, than through technology?

And so, ROAMSUiTEHOME was born.
